Evening, Good Neighbors!

Keeping in mind the way our country is delving away from old and counterproductive mindsets here is what we are fighting to create. The People of Los Angeles have put forward the "Peoples Budget LA" which outlines the citizens desire for a Crisis Response Team that has trained staff dedicated to responding to violent or threatening emergencies that have the training to de-escelate and know when it is appropriate for any kind of force. The truth of the matter is we have the ability to reform out country and the best way to do it is to keep pushing forward!

10 thoughts to keep in mind when creating our new Law Enforcement Group:

1. The Type of Law Enforcement we are interested in making.

2. The amount of funding they recieve.

3. The Amount of Weaponry or Force allowed/ WHEN it is Necessary

4. The Defining Borders of our City to know how far Jurisdiction spans.

5. The People and How We are protected by this New Law Enforcement.

6. The pay they recieve for this new law enforcement duty IF PAY IS INVOLVED.

7. The amount of training involved and amount of money spent on said training and vetting processes.

8. The ethics of this Law Enforcement Group

9. The Philosophy of Protections under this new Law for the People and Officers of Law Enforcement

10. The Reconciliation and Rehabilitation Process

On June 13th, 2020 Our Governor; Andrew Cuomo gave his address stating that the communities of each city and county need to come together to create their own ideas and legislation for our own Police Force. One made BY the community FOR the community

Welcome to Good NeighborsGood Night! This organization will be building itself alongside the community of Buffalo and all its beautifully diverse people to help create OUR version of Legislation for the New Model of Law Enforcement in America.

Although this Organization has its own ideas that will be shared for public view, the main point is forming a overarching idea of what OUR CITY wants! So I need YOUR INPUT!

Good Neighbors is a bond that we create. The Good Night is the one that WE make SAFE. Our communities have one thing in common: everything we do in the Buffalo, New York mindset is for the love of those in our lives and for the love of ourselves! This mindset has always made us into a home of diversity. It's a friendliness that melts the coldest of storms. THAT LOVE IS WHO WE ARE.

The reality being if we don't have one in place that we wish to put forward by April 1st, 2021 then we will not he given State Funding for ANY POLICE FORCE. In Cuomo's words April 1st is the "Drop Dead Date" at which point Counties and Cities within them that have not created a new policy and enforcement group to enact them WILL LOSE FUNDING TO THAT SECTOR.

Being a a city commonly known as "The City of Good Neighbors" we have a long history of race based violence and discrimination, police brutality, and silencing of people victimized by many crimes of varying size. Which all boils down to a society that functions in secrecy. A system of polite racism that has been engraved into our interactions with one another. We have one of the LARGEST immigrant populations in the state next to NYC, and yet we still have such a large amount of segregation in our neighborhoods just as we do in our Nation; and the protests and riots we witnessed these past 2 weeks Globally have spoken to these injustices and the time is OURS to enact that change. Also we have a HUGE REVENUE WE MAKE OFF BARS. So we NEED a form of law enforcement. Let's face it-- we love our family, we love our friends, and we LOVVVVE to have a good time here! So let's protect each other and love the fun we create!
