Jess Chambers

-There are numerous Flashes in DC's Multiverse, although not every one of them is a different Barry Allen, Wally West, or Jay Garrick. On Earth-11, Jess Chambers served as the Flash. They learned about a plot involving Earth-0 and traveled there to join the heroes in fighting a resurgent Hyperclan.

Jess has remained on Earth-0 ever since. They were at the top of the speed scale because of their capacity to travel through the Multiverse. Jess can reach a decent top speed by pushing themselves, but they still need to improve for years before they can compete with the fastest Flashes.

Nicknamed the "Scarlet Speedster", all incarnations of the Flash possess "super speed", which includes the ability to run, move, and think extremely fast, use superhuman reflexes, and seemingly violate certain laws of physics.

Bart Allen

-It just gets more complicated from there. Bart Allen is the 31st-century descendant of Barry Allen. Bart began his journey as the protagonist Impulse, a stereotypically energetic adolescent who could outrun the wind. Bart's life has always revolved on speed because he was born with the Speed Force, giving him abilities that other speedsters lacked.

Wallace West

-To suggest that Wallace West, the current Kid Flash, has generated controversy would be an understatement. When Wally West's replacement, Wally West, was introduced during the New 52, supporters of the original West quickly rebelled and despised the character. But DC stayed by his side. By fleshing Wallace out, DC disproved the doubters and made Wallace into a fantastic character.

Although Wallace is quick, he is not as quick as the other Flashes. He has a lot of room to grow because he is still a young man in training, just like all the other people who have donned the Kid Flash suit. Wallace is by no means slow, but the other Flashes outpace him.

Jay Garrick

-The first Flash made his appearance during the 1940s Golden Age as Jay Garrick. Garrick fit the mold of the do-gooder of the day, and his abilities weren't quite as developed as those of the subsequent Flashes. In the Silver Age, Jay would return to comics and contribute to the creation of the Multiverse idea that would guide DC for many years.

Garrick developed into one of the Justice Society's founding members, a veteran of the DC Universe, and a general role model. Despite being a superb hero thanks to his years of experience, Jay is the slowest Flash in terms of speed. He is still capable of performing many dazzling Flash stunts, but in a race of feet, he is losing ground.

The Flash First Reactions Are In

It’s been an incredibly long journey for the Fastest Man Alive on the big screen. But various false starts later, Warner Bros.’ The Flash is finally about to take a bow in theaters. Directed by Andy Muschietti (IT) from a script by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey), the film in part adapts the classic DC comic Flashpoint, in which Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) goes back in time to save his mother from death and completely changes the present, creating a dystopian alternate DC timeline. While it doesn’t look like the movie will get too bogged down in the many subplots of Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert’s miniseries, The Flash will incorporate quite a bit of DC movie history into its runtime.

Case in point: Michael Keaton returns as the Dark Knight of the Burtonverse for the first time since 1992’s Batman Returns. Bringing a major dose of nostalgia to a movie all about exploring the DC multiverse, we’ll get Keaton’s Batman playing all the hits — such as delivering his iconic “I’m Batman” line — as well as showing off a few new tricks. Most importantly, he’ll act as a new guide for both Barry Allens (don’t ask, best to go with it) running around the movie’s timeline.

But that’s not all. On top of that major blast from the past, the movie also seems to serve as somewhat of a finale for the version of the DC movie universe that first began in 2013’s Man of Steel. The film not only brings back Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod, once again wreaking havoc on Earth, but also seemingly reimagines the epic struggle of the first DCEU movie by casting Sasha Calle’s Supergirl and not Henry Cavill’s Superman in the role of the planet’s savior. (We assume the Kal-El we know was erased from history by Barry’s timey-wimey shenanigans).

The Flash’s Robbie Amell is cousins with the Green Arrow
The Arrowverse is one big family affair. From the Wests of The Flash, the Danver sisters of Supergirl, the Lance sisters of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and the Queen siblings of Arrow, family is one of the biggest themes in all of the Arrowverse shows. However, the family connection goes much deeper than the Arrowverse characters.

Actor Robbie Amell, who starred as Robbie Raymond throughout the early seasons of The Flash, is the younger cousin of Stephen Amell who plays Oliver Queen, aka The Green Arrow, on The CW’s Arrow. While Robbie and Stephen Amell’s relationship is one that most fans are familiar with, Robbie’s family connection goes a bit deeper than many recognize.

In addition to being related to the man responsible for launching the Arrowverse, Robbie is married to actress Italia Ricci who played Siobhan Smythe on Supergirl.

Barry Allen Creates A New Flash Costume
Barry Allen wore a new version of his classic superhero costume in both versions of Justice League and a brief cameo in Su***de Squad. The outfit was, as described by Bruce Wayne, able to resist extreme cold and comparable friction to what space shuttles experience during reentry.

Alternate Barry Allen
Another possibility for the villain of The Flash is an alternate version of Barry Allen. Ezra Miller will reportedly be playing both the original Barry Allen and the Barry Allen of the new timeline, and Barry trying to bring back the timeline where his mother’s alive would likely lead to the alternate Barry trying to stop him.

The Flash movie teaser and everything we know so far
The Flash movie just got a bit more exciting, as one actor declared it will be his final outing as one of the bigger names in the film. Not only is another Barry Allen rumored to have a cameo, but leaks suggest that Ezra Miller may be seeing double, as an alternate version of Barry Allen (also played by Miller) could also be showing up.

Captain Cold - Virgo

Captain Cold and The Flash have had a complicated relationship throughout their years of fighting each other and sometimes partnering up. Born to an abusive father, he turned to crime at just 13 years old to avoid his dad's abuse and make a name for himself, all with a code that prevents him from being a total villain.

Don't let that fool you, he is still a ruthless and unforgiving villain with a knack for robberies and carefully planning a heist. As the leader of his team The Rogues, he is like a chess player, carefully planning and executing plans to get what he wants. He is a very detailed villain who plans to the very tee, making him a true Virgo.

CW's The Flash: 10 Basic Mistakes Barry Allen Keeps Making

Barry Allen is not your typical hero and in CW's The Flash, he has made a number of mistakes that he doesn't seem to learn from.

In the Arrowverse, Oliver Queen may have been the first hero when he made his debut as Green Arrow, but Barry Allen - The Flash - quickly took the top spot and became the de facto leader of the heroes. With his fast thinking, science background, and giant heart, Flash had all the qualities needed to not just be a hero, but a leader of heroes.
