Landlord Joseph Parlato has a history of unpaid taxes & violations.

And one property — which inspectors deemed "not legal habitable space" — was the site of a devastating fire that claimed the life of a UB student.

The city has yet to rein Parlato in.

Join us at this Tenant Power Town Hall tonight to talk with fellow tenants and work towards the change we need to see!

We have shown up at meetings, engaged in good faith, and have been met with distractions, contradictions, and lies. BMHA leadership, particularly Gillian Brown and Modesto Candelario, have shown time and time again that they do not care about the needs of their tenants. Enough is enough.
