We were so blessed to be the recipients of this very generous donation to the WNY Gold Star Mother’s from this year’s Tee It Up for the Troops/Wanakah.
With this donation we are able to serve so many Veterans and their families throughout the year. Thank you so very much 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸💙

The WNY Gold Star Mother’s hosted a full Thanksgiving dinner for the hospitalized Veterans on 10C today. They were so appreciative and we were so grateful to be able to celebrate with them. Happy Thanksgiving to all 🦃

To all of our Gold Star Families, we will never forget your loved one and the sacrifice they made. Peace be with you ❤️🇺🇸💙🙏🏼🙏🏼

Today, on Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, we pause to honor the parents, spouses, and loved ones who have borne the ultimate sacrifice—the loss of their child in service to our Nation.

As poet Laurence Binyon wrote:

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Words can never equal the depth of your loss. We offer our gratitude, our remembrance, our prayers, and our steadfast commitment to carry forward the legacy of your loved ones—courageous, faithful service that endures beyond their time with us.

The WNY Gold Star Mother’s were so very saddened to hear of the passing of Mark Andol , owner of the Made in America store and a wonderful friend and supporter of Veterans and the Gold Star Mother’s. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him💔🇺🇸🙏🏻

We had a wonderful brunch hosted by the NY 7 Blue Star Mother’s for Mothers Day. We thank them for a lovely day of friendship and delicious food.

Late last month we held our NY State American Gold Star Mother’s convention in Auburn, NY.
There was a beautiful dedication of a new Gold Star Monument and we elected our new board and officers. We missed quite a few members due to illness but we prayed for their recovery and hope to see them again soon. It was a lovely weekend.

WNY Gold Star Mothers working with the DAV to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to hospitalized Veterans. We also provided some toiletries and small gifts. Everyone had a great time!
