Brown Kids with Disabilities needs your help feeding our families!

Every Saturday at Martha Mitchell Center, we provide meals for our kiddos and their parents—usually around 36 people, and sometimes as many as 50. The food program that supported these meals has ended, and we need your help keeping our families fed.

We welcome donations of:

🍗 Chicken
🌭 Turkey or beef hot dogs
🥨 Healthy snacks and gluten-free options
🍎 Fruits and vegetables
💧 Water and 100% juice

Please drop off donations on Saturdays only. Call 716-899-5341 ahead of time to arrange for someone to meet you.

Our nonprofit supports families of children and adults with special needs through weekly support groups, health and wellness education, monthly community outreach, clothing and hygiene giveaways, and free haircuts to promote dignity, advocacy, and stability.

📢 Important Update for BKWD Parents & Caregivers

As Brown Kids with Disabilities continues to grow, we are putting a little more structure in place to make sure every child who participates in our program is accounted for and has updated information on file.

Starting now, we are asking parents/guardians to complete a BKWD Child Enrollment Form for each child who regularly attends our Saturday program — whether you stay with your child or they participate while you are away.

The enrollment form will include emergency contact information, allergies/medical or sensory needs, authorized pickup information, photo permission, and parent/guardian authorization.

This is for safety, communication, and accountability. ❤️

We will still have our regular sign-in/sign-out process each Saturday. Enrollment simply gives us a more organized way to know our families and better support each child.

Thank you to all of our BKWD families for helping us continue to grow while keeping our children’s safety and well-being first.
