It has been crazy, over the last 3 years. I cannot believe I have come this far. As many of you know, I am afflicted with AML(Acute Myeloid Leukemia). Betcha can't say that 10x fast. I have seen it all, trips to Mercy Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, and of course Roswell. Who would have thought all those years doing the Ride for Roswell and now I am a patient there. The Staff at Roswell are incredible. I have been diligently walking over the past year and 4 months since My Stem Cell Transplant in October 2019. Doctor's orders are to exercise. Here's a picture of me and my PICC line with Lumens. I completed the 280,000 step challenge for February for Roswell.
I am now going to Register for the Ride for Roswell. I will be Captain of the Team"Kick Leukemias' A**". Anyone can join me if you want to. I am going to Register for the 10 mile event. Don't want to over do it. If anyone is Interested in sponsoring me, go to the website rideforroswell.org and look up my name or Team name. I am registered. Let's try to support Roswell so they can find the Cure for this Dreaded Disease. Thank you.

A New Year another Ride for Roswell yet to come. However, since February is the 280,000 step challenge for Cancer. I will do this Challenge first. Still thinking about this person right here. He lost his Battle with AML in Aug 2020. He was a friend, my Cancer Buddy on 5 East, we went through Caregiver meeting together, went through Hell together, and Overall He's a Great person. He will be Missed but Not Forgotten. I am doing this Challenge for Him and any other person Suffering from Blood Cancer. Allow me to succeed in this Challenge and Raise the funds necessary for Cancer Research. Miss you Mike. RIP.
