VT Seva Chicago volunteers came together for a wonderful afternoon of crafting beautiful birthday greeting cards. Our youngest volunteer (so far this year) was a second grader who helped make the birthday cards. These handmade cards are being donated to *Cakes4Kids*, an organization that ensures underprivileged children feel celebrated and special on their birthdays.

A huge thank you to all the kids and who joined the session. Your creativity and care will bring so much joy to many children on their special days!

VT Seva Chicago volunteers recently spent time volunteering as part of an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup in Long Grove, Illinois. During our time there, we worked together to clean up the road and surrounding areas by picking up trash and helping make the area cleaner and more pleasant for everyone.

It was a great experience because we got to work as a team while giving back to our local community. We walked along the road, collected trash, and made sure the area was left cleaner than we found it. Although picking up trash took a lot of time and effort, it was rewarding to see the difference we could make by working together.

Everyone did their part and worked hard throughout the cleanup. It was a simple but meaningful way to help keep our community clean and take care of the environment.

A big thank-you to all of our volunteers : Tanmai, Kai, Ani, Sarvika, Ash*ta and Rohith who came out to participate!

On Sunday, our VT Seva Chicago volunteers spent the afternoon with the residents at Sunrise Senior Living Center. We played bingo, gave out snacks as prizes, shared some treats, and finished the day with a fun game of balloon volleyball.
A big thank-you to all of our volunteers: Veda, Sudheeshana, Sahiti, Ani, Vivek, and Rohith! It was great getting to spend time with the residents and make their day a little more fun. We all had a great time, and weโ€™re glad we got the chance to help out!
