Buffalo Grove Rotary represented at the Rotary D6440 Conference!

BG Rotarians Stephen and Dan were honored by D6440 with an International Service Award for their volunteer leadership at service projects in Ak' Tenamit in Guatemala. This school has been widely recognized for its effective grassroots approach to vocational education, income generation, and health care.

Buffalo Grove Rotary's involvement has been a multi-decade, multi-faceted humanitarian effort combining direct service, infrastructure projects, education, and community development, supported by local fundraising and volunteer participation.

Club President Jason Davis also gave a presentation on how Rotary can use AI to help manage club operations. Great job, all! 🙌

Partnering to promote early literacy! 📚

The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove is proud to partner with Indian Trails Public Library on Early Literacy Nights, helping local children and families discover the joy of books, learning, and reading together. Pictured here are BG Rotartians Dennis, Bruce, and Jing at one of the first Early Literacy Nights of the new school year.

We’re grateful to the Indian Trails Library for creating these opportunities and to everyone who helps make them possible. Together, we’re investing in young readers and creating a stronger community, one book at a time!

Promoting a message of peace in Buffalo Grove and around the globe 🌎

This week, Village officials joined members of the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club to dedicate a new Peace Pole monument at the Ernie Karge Rotary Village Green. The monument is inscribed with the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in 12 languages spoken in our community.

Thank you to the Rotary Club for this beautiful and meaningful addition to this Village-owned park!
