What a wonderful evening at our Portland Garden Party!

More than 30 guests gathered Sunday in support of Adventure Unlimited. We’re so grateful to Marjorie Fahrney for matching all gifts from guests, as well as to our host and trustee Lisa Graff, trustee Steve Holser, and everyone who helped make the evening possible.

Thank you to all who joined and made this event so special!

At the end of camp sessions, we always talk about the importance of “taking camp home” with you when you leave – how you can bring the experience of camp and Christian Science with you and feel the love, joy, adventure, and community all year long.

What are some ways you can feel the spirit of camp today?

- Document a healing experience for the Christian Science periodicals.
- Record inspiration for the Daily Lift podcast.
- Attend a Christian Science church or Sunday School near you or tune into The Mother Church services online.
- Follow the A/U Ranches on Instagram and Facebook to stay connected.
- Watch the calendar for “Ranches on the Road” events coming to your area.

We can't wait to hear about how you took camp home when we see you next summer!

Last summer, we asked our seasonal staff which passages from the Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and the Christian Science Hymnal they find helpful and inspiring.

This summer, we used those recommendations to curate a list of 10 passages from each of those books – and 10 familiar Bible stories – that we can use as “foundational” spiritual passages with campers, creating a common collection of ideas we are all familiar with. These passages have become our “on the rock” passages, building on our summer 2026 metaphysical theme.

We marked every set of books in our cabin “Reading Room” crates with the same passages so they’re easy to find. Over the next few years, we’ll continue to use them in conversation, spiritual prep, and inspiration activities to build our collective understanding of these favorite passages.

Follow along as we share some of our “on the rock” favorites!
