“The word advent means ‘coming’. This season is about the mission of God to seek and to save lost people. He is a God on a mission. He is not aloof or passive or indecisive. He is sending, pursuing, searching, saving. That’s the meaning of advent.” - John Piper

Today we are praying for the Tajik.

Pray that today’s people group would experience God’s wonderful grace and begin to tell others about Him.

Pray that Tajik and Russian believers would live such holy lives that others would desire to have the same spiritual riches found only in Christ. Pray that Tajiks would not judge Christianity as a "Russian religion," but see their own need for salvation and the forgiveness of their sins from a sinless Savior. Ask God to raise up more long-term missionaries. Ask the Lord to raise up a movement to Christ among the Tajiks soon. Pray that the Psalms and Gospels be put to Tajik music.
