Gardner-Thornton Athletic Scholarship - GTAS GTAS provides financial aid to eligible seniors of Marion County HS on their way to college

The Gardner-Thornton Athletic Scholarship is a Memorial Scholarship named in honor of two local teens of Buena Vista, Georgia. Every year GTAS awards two $1,000 scholarships to eligible seniors of Marion County Middle/High School that are accepted to Post-Secondary Institutions of higher learning.

It's that time of year again! It's scholarship season! The Gardner-Thornton Athletic Scholarship - GTAS is a memorial scholarship awarded to two graduating seniors of Marion County Middle/High School who have participated in varsity sports, are in good academic standing, have good moral character and have a financial need. Final decisions will be made soon!

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will open on Oct. 1st. -- Don't forget to complete your application!!
Whether you qualify for financial aid or not, some scholarships require it to be completed -- Don't miss out on an opportunity for additional funding for college!!
