So thankful that the Bundrick family are hosting these new foreign exchange students! They are already feeling so attached to them, they don't want them to go back to their native homes this summer. 💙❤️

Tim, from the Netherlands, will be coming to Buena Vista for his senior year! So grateful for Katie Campbell & Mike Hagadorn for welcoming him to reside with them to begin his school year. He is looking forward to all the fun sports our community offers and is so excited about our beautiful town.

"My wife and I are empty nesters and we saw an ad for hosting Claudia from Spain in 2021 and thought that may be fun. We had a great time with Claudia, introducing her to our culture, and her introducing us to her culture. It was an amazing experience! In 2022, Claudia asked if we would like to host her sister, Paula, for the next school year. We said yes! Hosting sisters back-to-back was amazing, as we got to know the family really well. They have a younger brother and both sisters hope that he will want to come stay with us and go to the same high school that they did. Having got to know a family over two years has been a very special treat. Claudia came back for our son's wedding, and the whole family plans on coming back for our daughter's wedding! We plan on spending Christmas with them in Spain!"

Check out 15 year old Maeva from Switzerland. She is eager to call America home. Could you possibly be her host family this school year?

"Hello, I am Maeva! I enjoy reading love stories. I also like baking pastries (well especially eat them). For 7 years I did Cheerleading. I hope I will have the chance to do it again in cheerleading's country of origin! I started to have interest in Volleyball and I have been doing it for a short time now. I always wanted to know how to speak fluent English because I find it great to be able to speak with other people from around the world and still be able to communicate with them. To meet other people without the language barrier being a problem and of course for my future studies."

Speak English Fluently- All STS Foundation exchange students have demonstrated a sufficient level of spoken English to come on the program.
Health Insurance Provided-The students come with their own medical insurance covering accidents and illnesses.
Have their own Pocket Money-The natural parents of the students provide the pocket money to cover any school-related expenses, clothes, trips, and social activities.

STS Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to intercultural student exchange. We are looking for host families to welcome an international exchange student that will study in an American high school. Once you become a host family, you can select your international student and set up house rules that work best for your family, in advance.
