We are very excited to announce the completion of the Buena Vista Downtown Revitalization Strategy!!

The plan, completed by StudioAmmons , is part of the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) sponsored by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development 's Business District Revitalization Program.

The project initiatives and recommendations presented in this report will provide the necessary preparatory design work to allow the City to pursue CDBG implementation grants for these projects.

There will be an initial presentation of the plan Thursday, February 11th at 7:00 pm. See the link below for meeting information.

DROP BOXES will be going up tomorrow for your door hanger surveys. Hopefully the typo got everyone's attention and will help them remember to fill it out by hand or fill it out online on the website or here on the page. This will help us a great deal since we can't have large public meetings right now so thanks!

Drop boxes for the door hanger survey will be going up early this week on Magnolia Ave. downtown. We’ll Let you know as soon as the locations are decided. If you’ve already finished your survey just hang onto it for a couple of days and then they’ll be a secure place to drop it. Thanks
