Join us this Sunday, October 4th, 2026 for the Opening Ceremony of HOMEPLACE: Home as a Site of Love & Resistance for Black Families.

The opening is followed by two months of free and donation-based programming and art activations at offTOP Design including conversations with author Jamilah Lemieux (Jamilah), yin-yoga with Cuties LA (Cuties Los Angeles) and an art making working with Willie Thomas (HOOD PHENOMENON).

Come celebrate our decadeโ€™s long work and indulge in the power of Black art, community and joy!

Over the last few months, weโ€™ve been reflecting on what 10 years of Parenting for Liberation means - for us, for our community, for our current political moment.

Like most P4L innovations, it always starts with a seed, a little handwritten note, an idea in the middle of a random moment, spark of creativity, conversationโ€ฆ

HOMEPLACE is our love letter to what ten years of practicing liberation at home, with our families and community has meant. The exhibition highlights the beauty and complexities of Black family life and invites you to travel to a place where Black futures are actualized. โœจ
