And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Buda Art Brawl.

Congratulations to our 2026 Top Brawler, Rose Gonzalez!

And a huge round of applause for our Runner-Up, Abbi Kaiser!

The creative energy in the room was unreal—eight incredible artists pushing themselves through three intense rounds, racing the clock, and pouring everything onto the canvas. We are so grateful to Christopher Powell, Kai Aguirre, Abbi Kaiser, Rose Gonzalez, Justin Jackley, Anna Altice, Artun Gokcen, and Emma Solomons for sharing their talent, courage, and artistry with our community.
Thank you to our phenomenal host, Suzanna Choffel, for keeping the night electric, and to Money Chicha for bringing the psychedelic cumbia pulse that fueled every brushstroke.

"My name is Erin Cowan, and I am honored to be an alternate brawler at the Buda art brawl this year! I am a high school art teacher, and my preferred mediums are oil paint, acrylic paint and ceramics. My artwork is usually full of color. I am excited to be a part of this exciting night!"

Justin Jackley is a local artist and art teacher as well as a freelance graphic designer. He creates drawings, paintings, album cover art, posters, fliers, T-shirt/sticker designs, book covers, and more for clients around the world. His work has been exhibited in both group and solo shows across Texas and from Hawaii to Sweden.

Rose Elizabeth, a San Antonio, TX native, has lived with severe hearing loss since birth. As a physically disabled and mentally ill artist, she turned to art as a means of communication and self-expression.
