It was a night of education, an example of dedication and a whole lot of fun! Community Affairs, Officer, Freddy Erdman presented us with “Stop the Bleed“. An engaging way to learn about trauma aid in the field. Not only helpful but something that if needed can be used, and everyone who attended is now certified to “Stop the Bleed“! What an amazing celebration of community! Buda’s Birthday 🥳was such a fun event and the Foundation enjoyed meeting everyone! Shout out to the City of Buda, TX - City Government on a well organized and fun celebration! Congratulations to John Barrera on winning the 50/50 Raffle!!! 💵 We look forward to seeing everyone at the next big event!

Buda Police Department Animal Control is happy to announce FREE pet registration and microchipping for the month of April. We are now doing registration for the residents of Buda and the ETJ. Application can be done in person at the Buda Police Department or online: https://www.budatx.gov/272/Animal-Registration

*In person applications: Please bring current proof of rabies vaccination. If chipped, must include microchip ID number. If not microchipped, ACO may be able to chip the animal if available.

*Rabies vaccinations must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to expiration.

*If animal is registered but needs a chip and the rabies vaccination has expired, the owner must pay registration fees again.

With pride and satisfaction, I formally passed the presidential baton to Cindy Wilson at today's meeting of the renowned Buda Police Foundation following my successful tenure of two enriching years. Confident in her innate talents coupled with acquired expertise, I have no doubt that she is poised to take the helm seamlessly while leading us into another era brimming with accomplishments.

During the recent council meeting at the City of Buda, TX, the Buda Police Foundation volunteers set aside $500 to procure medical supplies and training equipment for the local police department.

BPF Vision: “a safe city that is good for people, good for businesses, and good for life.”

The Buda Police Foundation strives to promote and reinforce public safety efforts by strengthening partnerships between the community and the Buda Police Department in order to enhance and maintain the quality of life in the City of Buda. Our goal is to share knowledge and information about law enforcement practices and strategies that encourage community support, involvement, and to help ensure the effective delivery of police services. We are a nonprofit tax-exempt company organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
