What adjustments need made if planting in June?
🌱For soybeans, consider narrowing row width to 15 inches or less, bumping seeding rates to 150k–175k, and choosing the longest relative maturity that can still beat fall frost.
🌽For corn, switch to earlier-maturing hybrids to manage grain moisture and frost risk, though keep in mind later planted hybrids require less GDDs to reach maturity

Poison hemlock is in full bloom around the county and can be easy to misidentify it. Poison hemlock produces white flowers on stalks with purple spots that can be 6-10ft tall. All areas of the plant are toxic to all classes of livestock. If working around this plant, be cautious to avoid getting any of its sap on your skin, as it can lead to burns or blisters.
