May 27th the VFW Post 1078 in Bucyrus will be having Cindy's shrimp scampi with salad and roll for $10 starting at 5:00 p.m. it will go in till 7:00 unless sold out before.
This will sell out fast!

We would like to thank each and every person the volunteered, cooked, donated, served in the kitchen last night at the VFW 1078 in Bucyrus. We sold out of meals within the first 40 minutes of serving. The girls in the kitchen did a great job. We raised I total of $609.00. Thanks to everyone that stopped and to eat or get a dinner to go.

Wednesday evening we will also be having homemade blueberry cobbler, cheesecake, orange fluff and peanut butter oreo desert.
Each of these desserts will be sold as individual servings. We will serving lattice chicken with a roll and butter for $8. 5:00 p.m. until gone or 7:00 p.m. whichever comes first. This is to support Melanie Pfahler while she's off of work with her back.

This Wednesday we will hold a fundraiser for one of our own. Melanie Pfahler one of our VFW 1078 bartenders is not doing well with her back. She is off of work. We will be holding a lattice chicken dinner with a roll and butter. $8 per meal. There will be dessert available for an extra charge.
Please help support Mel until she is able to get back to work. She is so grateful for this and we want to show her our love and support. We will be serving at 5:00 p.m. and it will be sold until gone or 7:00 p.m. how many

There was a mistake on the calendar inside of the post. The calendar inside of the post at the VFW 1078 says the auxiliary is cooking tonight. The auxiliary cooks on the third Wednesday. Mike Clayton and Sue will be in the kitchen this evening. We are so grateful for the hours that are volunteers put in. Reminder that next Wednesday night is the night for auxiliary to cook the meal will be posted soon. The 27th of this month Cindy will be making her amazing shrimp scampi.
