Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council (OHC) is a friendly, local club of horse owners and horse lovers. We are always looking for new members.

We focus on having fun and do several organized trail rides each year. The club also maintains the trails at Unger Park in Bucyrus, OH. Belonging to OHC enables you to purchase $1,000.000 of horse liability insurance for only $20/year for individuals or $40/year for a family.

Reminder....COOSHA is sponsoring their annual tack swap and acution on January 21 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Sale is 10 AM -2 PM and the auction starts at 3. A great way to forget the winter blahs and think about spring and riding. See you there.

We are holding the election of officers at the regularly scheduled meeting on Sunday November 20th at 6:30 at the Red Rooster Ranch (Arnie and Heather Auck's house). Hope everyone can make it.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Halloween party has been cancelled. Many apologies! The next meeting will be November 20th at the Red Rooster Ranch (Arnie and Heather Auck's house). Election of officers will be held. Please plan to attend.

Hope everyone has been enjoying these past few sunny weekend days with their horses. Don't forget the Halloween party November 5th at the Red Rooster Ranch (Arnie and Heather Auck's house). Bonfire, hot dogs, chili, hay rides (weather permitting) and fun for all. Bring a dish and come celebrate with us. Bring any potential new members with you, too!

Spread the word to all your friends. The Poker run is this Sunday, August 14th at 1:00 at Unger Park. Hoping for a good turnout so we can continue to maintain the trails and sponsor our youth's horse related adventures. $10/hand. There will be prizes, raffles, 50-50 and food.

We have a winner! Cammie Auck, a member of Crawford County OHC won the photo contest for the age 13 through high school division at Equine Affaire. Congrats Cammie! Proceeds from the contest bennefit the OHC youth program. Keep those kids in the saddle!
