As we wrap up another incredible school year at LifeWise Colonel Crawford, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude!

This year, we were blessed with the opportunity to share Jesus with more than 100 students throughout the school year. What a joy it has been to watch these precious children grow in faith, character, and love for God! ❤️

To celebrate our final day together, our students enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes … and we want to give a huge shout out to Jordan Shifley for providing the ice cream! 🍦 Thank you for helping make the day extra special!

None of this would be possible without our amazing community of supporters, volunteers, prayer warriors, families, and donors. Because of your support, students are learning life-changing truths from God’s Word each week.
We asked our students what the most important thing they learned at LifeWise was this year, and their answers were beautiful:

What a blessing to hear God’s truth being hidden in the hearts of children! We saw so much growth in our students this year, and we are so thankful for every moment.

Last Buckeye Central LifeWise update for the 2025-2026 school year! ❤️💛

Buckeye Central 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders enjoyed ice cream and a drink while playing review bingo…. except they yelled “LifeWise!” instead of bingo! 🍦🎉

What a wonderful year it has been! These students have been such a blessing to us, and we are so thankful for the time we’ve shared together learning and growing in God’s Word.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer, and we can’t wait to see you all again next school year! 😊

Crestline LifeWise:

This was our last week of LifeWise for Crestline! We will miss our students but look forward to seeing them again in August! This week was filled with looking back at the year, singing songs, receiving earned incentives and activities with peers!

We are thankful for all the support and provisions provided by our County Board and Donors!

We are thankful and want to give a shout out to area churches in Crestline that support our ministry: Trinity Lutheran, Love Action, Heritage Baptist, and Praise Generation! These local churches partner with LifeWise by providing donorship, prayer, Teachers and Volunteers, and use of their facility! It is a blessing to see our community of believers come together to serve the Lord Jesus alongside LifeWise!

We are thankful for the cafeteria staff, office staff, Teachers and Administration at Crestline EVSD!

Most of all, we are thankful and give praise to the Lord Jesus for his gift of salvation!

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

What a joy-filled week at LifeWise Colonel Crawford! ❤️📖

This week was full of wonderful surprises and sweet moments that reminded us how powerful God’s Word is across generations.

When Mrs. Shifley mentioned our 4th graders would be learning about Jesus and Zacchaeus, our volunteers suddenly broke out singing “Zacchaeus Was a Wee Little Man!” 🎶 They were then challenged to sing it for the class… and amazingly, even though only two students had ever heard the song before, the whole class quickly caught on! Decades later, those Bible songs still stick in our hearts.
We also witnessed students stepping up in beautiful ways… holding doors open, offering to pray on the bus, and showing kindness without being asked.

Our 2nd graders experienced a hands-on lesson as they “collected manna” (cotton balls) just like the Israelites gathering God’s daily provision while wandering in the wilderness for 40 years before entering the Promised Land.

Meanwhile, our 5th graders jumped all the way to the final book of the Bible to learn about the promise of Jesus’ return. Their drawings of heaven were priceless and deeply moving. Some imagined jeweled streets and shining buildings, while others pictured heaven simply as a place where every need is met. One student drew a Bible, another drew herself eating at a table with God, writing, “No sadness in this house.” 💛

So thankful for God’s Word, His promises, and the reminder that heaven is filled with His holy presence. Please continue praying that these truths stay rooted in the hearts of our students for years to come. 🙏✨

What fun and fellowship our Wynford LifeWise team had on Tuesday afternoon! Our Wynford LifeWise teachers held an Appreciation Celebration for our Wynford volunteers and county board members. The food was delicious, the conversations were full of laughs, and our fellowship was sweet. To those who were not able to attend- we missed you! Our volunteers faithfully fill an important role each week. Some volunteer once a month, some every other week, and some every week. If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, just send us a message. No experience necessary; just need a heart to serve our community’s children. ❤️💛❤️

Another wonderful week at LifeWise Buckeye Central! ❤️📖

Our 1st graders followed the motions of their teacher, Kathy, as she read the story of Moses leading God’s people across the Red Sea. They learned about the character trait of Reliability and created a fun craft showing the sea parting into dry ground!

Our 2nd graders focused on the character trait of Attentiveness while learning about Eli and Samuel. They discovered how Samuel listened to and obeyed God’s voice. “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:10)

Our 3rd graders celebrated all they’ve learned this year by participating in review stations. At one station, they reviewed all the memory verses they’ve hidden in the hearts this year. At another station, they read Who am I? clues with a partner and guessed the Bible characters from this year’s lessons. Finally, they celebrated moms by making a simple Mother’s Day Craft and writing a note on the back for their mom.

We are so thankful for our students, volunteers, teachers, drivers and families who make LifeWise so special. We encourage everyone to spend time reading God’s Word together this week! 📚✨

Crestline LifeWise Program:

This year has gone fast! In the beginning of the year, we had 11(eleven) 3rd graders return. 2nd and 4th graders were added as new classes. Today, we have 41(forty-one) active students enrolled! Next year, we are anticipating more growth and look forward to what God has planned for LifeWise!

Parents, thank you for entrusting your students to LifeWise as they journey to learn more about Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

LifeWise Academy’s vision is to reach public school students with the gospel through a high-quality, community-driven Released Time Religious Instruction program.

We missed our 2nd graders today! We pray all had fun during their field trip!

3rd Graders:

✦ Big Picture Q&A: How many gods are there? There is one true God who alone deserves worship.

JESUS CONNECTION:
The people worshiped the false god Baal. But the one true God is not like the false gods. Instead, He showed His love for us by sending His Son, Jesus. Jesus bled and died to rescue us from sin when we trust in Him.

LifeWise Quality:
LOYALTY – Choosing to stay with someone, even when it costs me.

**Prayer group time for both grades! Students learned about the importance of prayer and had the opportunity to pray for one another. A special lady gifted all the students with prayer patches to remind them they are loved. See pictured at the end:)

4th Graders:
GOD GAVE RULES FOR SACRIFICE

✦ Big Picture Q&A: Who can keep God’s law? No one can keep God’s law perfectly
except Jesus.

JESUS CONNECTION
The sacrifices God required of His people were a hint of what God was going to do to
forgive sinners. We no longer need to offer sacrifices because we trust in Jesus.

Wynford 1st-3rd graders celebrated the end of a wonder year of LifeWise! Students played review games, enjoyed Mark’s Homemade Ice Cream, and 3rd grade played LifeWise Bingo! ✨ Each student was given a Grow in God’s Word gift, including a summer reading plan challenge! Parents- be sure to check out the letter addressed to you, as well as a county-wide list of Vacation Bible School events scheduled in the next few months ❤️ May we all Grow in God’s Word this summer!

What an exciting week at Colonel Crawford LifeWise! 🎉

We are so grateful for our amazing donors who make it possible for every student to have their own Bible…what an incredible blessing as our students dig into God’s Word each week! 📖

Our 2nd graders wrapped up the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea, and they were amazed by a clip showing what could be one of Pharaoh’s chariot wheels discovered underwater! 🌊

Meanwhile, our 4th graders took on the “10 Commandments Challenge” by trying to keep ten balloons in the air… spoiler alert: it didn’t work! 😄 A perfect reminder that no one can keep God’s law perfectly except Jesus abide in them! Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments!” Praise God for His rescue plan through Jesus that made it possible for us to live holy! ✝️

We love watching faith grow in action! We missed our 3rd and 5th graders this week… can’t wait to have you back! Don’t forget to bring your character trait challenge papers!
