Greetings and Thank you for taking some time to look into our charity…

Doug’s Kids! (The Doug Tima Memorial Fund)

This fund was established in 2016 after the passing of my father Doug Tima. Start High School in Toledo in 1968 and continued his education at the University of Toledo. He moved to Bucyrus in 1974 and taught Special Education in the Bucyrus City School District from 1974 until 2002

when he retired. Doug was a coach for most of his teaching career for: the Bucyrus Varsity Football Team, the Bucyrus Middle School Track Team, and Head Coach of the Bucyrus Cross Country Team. He was a member of the American Legion Post 181 and the Bucyrus Moose Lodge. Doug was an avid diehard sports fan for the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Doug also loved fishing and boating around many lakes across the country. His biggest and most important passion was his love for his students… “His Kids!”... Doug always believed that any kid should have the ability to do any activity they want regardless of barriers. While we all know that there are sometimes some unforeseeable complications that can hinder someone's participation in an activity, my father believed money should never be one! The Mission of this charity is removing the barriers for ALL kids to participate in extracurricular activities (Sports, Music, Theatre, Etc.)... Money should NEVER be the reason to not be involved! Let's remove these barriers together,

Today is the day! Thank you for everybody that has already donated in those planning to come.
1. There will be plenty of nonalcoholic/mocktails for those doing dry January .
2.  The NFL games will be on the TV starting at 4:30 PM. And they will also be on for the late games as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets game. 
3. If you show up and it’s busy, people are gonna come and go we will make it work. The staff works incredibly hard and will serve all of you in a quick amount of time.
4. Can’t make it, we will miss you. But if you would still like to donate, you can always scan the QR code on the page, the flyer, or in person. If you want to be in any of the baskets just messenger me… And let me know which basket or if you want it in the 50-50 we will make it happen. You do not have to be present to win.
5. Let’s have a great time! No matter what happens we’re here to raise money for kids to remove barriers for them to be successful. Every little bit helps.
