We shared our program information with parents and students at the Bucyrus Elementary open house tonight. Heard a lot of positive comments for the program and how helpful it is. We are looking forward to providing our weekend meal bags to the students in Crawford County.

It’s the second Friday of the month so that means it’s time for a truck from Second Harvest as we prepare for the beginning of the school year. Milk, juice, chicken noodle soup, cereal, rice, cheeseburger skillet and Alfredo pasta meals.

With the high and rising cost of groceries, everyone could use a little help!?

Do you have a child that attends Bucyrus, Colonel Crawford, Wynford, Buckeye Central, Crestline, Galion St. Joe, Crestline St. Joe, Fairway Preschool, Goal Digital Academy, High Road of Bucyrus, or the YMCA preschool?

The Bucyrus Backpack Program, LLC provides a full weekend of meals and snacks to eligible families from Preschool through 12th grade that include 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners, plus 3 snacks per student that is sent home on Friday in a sack.
Participation is easy. Just call or visit your school's office and tell them you would like to sign up.

Our first pack of the school year will be Wednesday, September 16. Bags will come home Thursday or Friday of the week. We thank Menards for providing the bags we pack the meals in. Just contact your school if you need a weekend bag and a form will be sent home with your child.
