πŸŒ³πŸ› Building Smiles in Creola! πŸ›πŸŒ³

When the City of Creola called for help, APSO's Red Shirts were ready to answer!

On July 24th, A dedicated team of volunteers, Webb Bryant, Jeremy Nelson, Riley Hill, Patrick Smith, and Brian Charles, led by Walter Rosenbohm, rolled up their sleeves and helped install brand-new playground equipment at Creola City Park.

Thanks to their hard work and commitment to serving our communities, local families now have a safer, updated place where children can play, explore, and make lasting memories. There's nothing better than knowing our volunteers helped create a space that will bring smiles and laughter to kids for years to come.

Thank you to this outstanding crew for representing APSO and making a difference where it matters most!

πŸ“šπŸŒž APSO Back-to-School Cleanup Success! πŸŒžπŸ“š

Last Friday, July 31, our APSO crew braved the summer heat to help get Lee Elementary's Outdoor Classroom ready for students to return to school!

When Samantha Tallent reached out, the Red Shirts answered the call. Armed with tools, fresh soil, and plenty of teamwork, the crew rolled up their sleeves and transformed the outdoor learning space into a welcoming environment for the kids.

A huge thank you to Jeremy Nelson, Riley Hill, Emily Green, Trey Parker, Garet Pelham, Brian Charles, Brandon Dunagan, and their fearless leader Walter Rosenbohm for donating their time and energy to spruce everything up. Your hard work will help create a great outdoor learning experience for countless students this school year.

APSO is proud to support our local schools and communities. We appreciate everyone who helped make this project a success and wish all the students and teachers a fantastic school year ahead!

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Troop Care Package Project πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

On Friday, we received a call that a plane was heading out to resupply some of our deployed troops. We were asked if we had any care packages ready to sendβ€”and thanks to the quick action of APSO members Cherie and Palmer Gatlin, the answer was YES!

They immediately shopped for supplies and delivered them to Keesler Air Force Base, where service members Brody Wilkerson and Will Rowan helped get everything packed and loaded onto the plane.

It’s a small way to show our appreciation for the brave men and women serving our country, and we are honored to support them.

We’re still collecting donations so we can send even more care packages to our deployed troops. If you’d like to help, please use the QR codes in the comments.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this project. β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Plant Barry APSO pulled up to the North Mobile K-8 Splash Bash today running the concession stand like a whole snack cartel πŸ˜‚πŸŒπŸ•

We was out there hustlin’ nachos, folding pizza boxes like street money, launching soft drinks, dealing pickles, and keeping the sugar supply flowing with cotton candy and Sour Patch Kids while the kids ran wild through bounce houses, water slides, and the fire truck rain shower πŸ’¦πŸš’

Big respect to the red shirt crew that kept the operation rolling: Cherie Gatlin, Danny & Stephanie Bolerjack, Lora Lofton, Jade Wilkerson, Brandon Dunagan, and Gavin Schmitz. Y’all didn’t just work the stand… y’all ran the block πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

🌸 Spring Clean-Up Success! 🌿

APSO had a fantastic Spring Clean-Up at Lee Elementary School and Spanish Fort Elementary Outdoor Classrooms! Over two different days, our incredible volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare the outdoor classrooms for student use.

From pulling weeds and pruning bushes to planting flowers and cleaning the turtle habitat, every effort was focused on creating welcoming, hands-on learning spaces for students to enjoy and learn from. 🐒🌼

A huge thank you to Walter Rosenbohm and Madison Maughon for leading these projects and keeping everything running smoothly. πŸ‘

This work would not have been possible without our amazing volunteers:

Jeremy Nelson, Jeff Reeves, Brian Charles, Webb Bryant, Emily Green, Shawn Stinson, Angela Weston, Trey Parker, Bill Ward, Patrick Smith, and Catie Bryant β€” we appreciate each of you! πŸ’™

We love working for the kids and are grateful for the opportunity to support some truly wonderful teachersβ€”especially during Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎✨ Thank you for all you do for our students every single day.
