🌲 POA Community Update 🌲
Last night’s meeting… well, it was definitely not one for the books. It felt like the universe was being a bit testy. But even in the small chaos of the evening, we found a bit of light — another member stepped forward and offered to help on the legal side of things, which is a huge step in the right direction. And truly, what kind of life would this be without a few bumps, twists, and turns along the way?
Here’s where we go from here:
We’re gathering the correct documents so we can begin collecting signatures for two of the issues discussed in previous meetings. This is the next step — and it matters.
But none of this moves forward without you.
We need an informed, active community that cares about fairness, transparency, and the proper treatment of POA members. There is far more going on behind the scenes than most people realize, and it deserves daylight.
If you’re concerned…
If you’re doubtful…
If you’re curious about what’s really going on…
Get involved. Show up. Bring your neighbors. See it firsthand.
This isn’t drama.
This isn’t gossip.
This is real life — real decisions, real consequences, and in some cases, real inaction where action is needed.
I’ve talked to neighbors who have chosen to go to other local parks and lakes because using the one in their own backyard has become too bothersome, the very lake and parks that they fund to use — I've heard cases of slander, racism, I've seen threats and bullying, I've heard from several members who feel completely ignored for far too many issues. Unfortunately, these are just a few concerns that have been brought up thus far.
If you want change, you’re part of the solution.
✨ Show up. Speak up. Stand together.
Our next meeting will be held in the middle of February — and your presence matters.
This community belongs to all of us, and it’s time we move forward with fairness, transparency, and unity.
