Great Back to School event!

The Donald Loomis Memorial Clothing Bank is having its annual Back To School Event!

August 25-26
By appointment only- Please call 253-740-1367 to schedule a time
250 West Main Street, Bldg 600, Buckley
Must live within the WR or Carbonado school district boundary

After the school year starts, they will be back to their regular schedule.

Happy August everyone! It’s the heat of summer and our thoughts naturally turn towards.....Thanksgiving! I know most of us aren’t in that mindset yet, but we are planning ahead and making sure we can make enough holiday bags for all of our clients! So, in that spirit, here’s what we are looking for this month!

Turkey gravy packets
Instant mash potatoes
Canned Sweet potatoes/Yams
Canned pumpkin
Evaporated milk

Thank you to all of our amazing supporters and volunteers! We love the support we get from the Buckley community so we can ensure our neighbors have food to feed their families. Any donation items can be dropped off Wednesdays and Fridays from 8AM to Noon when we are open for clients, Mondays and Tuesdays from 8AM – 10AM when we stock the shelves. Thank you so much!

A huge THANK YOU needs to go out to the BUCKLEY KIWANIS CLUB, president KEITH BANKS. Keith has spent the past 2 1/2 years looking for a carnival to return on LOG SHOW weekend. The Kiwanis Club were the ones that provided the carnival for all past years. With all of Keith's hard work and persisance he was able to contract for a carnival this year. The city gave its approval for the location and, with some assistance from the Buckley Chamber of Commerce, the Log Show carnival is back. The best news of all is Rainier Amusement has agreed to return in 2027. THANK YOU!
