Another great year of Pizza & Prevention is in the books! Thank you to everyone who spent the evening with us as well as the Newtown Township Police Department, Buckingham Township Police Department, and Midway Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police for your help!

We want to give a huge thank you and shoutout to all of the local businesses who help make this event a great success every year, we couldn’t do it without you!! Polly's Ice Cream & Espresso, Marrazzo's Manor Lane and Dominick’s Pizza. We are incredibly grateful for your support and partnership.

Lastly, thank you to Senator Frank Farry and PA State Rep. Kristin Marcell for stopping by to deliver the $1,000,000 LSA Grant check we were awarded in conjunction with Wrightstown Township. At 2127 on September 6th, Tactical Box 35-08 was transmitted for the report of a house on fire in the 800 block of Mill Creek Rd in Wrightstown Township sending LFC and Northampton Township Fire Department Rescue, Quint, and Tanker 3. Chief 35 arrived to find a 2.5 story single family dwelling with light smoke showing from the second floor, requested additional resources, and established Wrightstown Command. Additional calls reported a child to be trapped on the second floor of the residence. Engine 35 arrived first, dropped in, rapidly began searches, and stretched a line for fire suppression with assistance from Rescue 3. Searches quickly proved negative and it was confirmed that all occupants were accounted for. Interior crews ultimately determined the fire throughout the second floor had self extinguished and worked to overhaul and ventilate. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation by FM278. As always, thank you to our mutual aid companies for your assistance: Newtown Fire Rescue, Midway Volunteer Fire Company, Warwick Township Fire Company No. 1, Upper Makefield Volunteer Fire Company, and ivyland_fire_company and New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company for covering Station 35.
