Not only are we thinking about the ways faith is shaped in our children but also how faith was shaped in us.

We, at New Community Church, continue to pray for our local community.

The Upshur and Lewis County communities are working together to assist anyone impacted by the July flooding.

Here is some current information for people impacted by the flooding disaster and those who are wanting to continue to get involved and assist our communities.

The Flood Relief Distribution Center located in Market Place Mall in Weston will serve as the Distribution Hub for Lewis and Upshur Counties.

To our Buckhannon Community and broader friends.

We, at New Community Church, are so heartbroken by the devastating floods which took place on 7/21. We are prayerful and grieving with those suffering through this.

As we grieve, we also want to respond.

If you, or someone you know has immediate needs we will do what we can, though of course our resources are limited.

For those who are feeling the Kingdom instinct to respond and care, to give and serve, there are so many great organizations throughout our county and region. We know of places like the Upshur County Parish House who are doing such good work, and we want to collaborate with them.

As one more faith community, we have also had a special account called our HOPE FUND setup for a very long time in order to help meet immediate needs.

You can select the "Hope Fund" under the Fund tab and donate as you wish. No pressure at all, but we will do our best to make sure resouces meet immediate needs.
