Thank you to Restoring Hope and our church congregation for helping us sponsor children in foster care with duffle bags, blankets, and books about kindness in recognition of "Kindness in February"! ❤️

Big news for our little closet! We received a Foster Closet Mini Grant from Fostering Together, and we couldn’t be more grateful. This grant means more clothing, more hygiene items, more comfort, and more dignity for the children we serve. Every child deserves to feel seen and supported. Thank you, WVFT, for helping us keep that mission going.

❤️We have moved! The closet is now located at the storefront directly across from South Buckhannon Mission Church! Please reach out if you have a need!

❤️ If you would like to make a donation to the closet please reach out to arrange a drop off time! We appreciate donations but we kindly ask that you do not leave them outside the closet!

We are sending a huge shoutout to the Quilters at Heart Guild of Buckhannon who graciously chose the closet as the recipient of the funds of their yearly quilt raffle this year! Each year the group collaboratively quilts a quilt and raffles it off to raise funds for a local non-profit organization. The raffle raised $2,000 for our closet this year and the winning ticket drawn was none other than our pastor of South Buckhannon Mission Church, Ed Lowther! 🥰 Thank you to the group for all of the work involved in making this happen! The funds will be a huge benefit to area foster and kinship families with needs. We are so grateful for you! ❤️
