Who could argue with "Thou shalt not kill"? But when this Law is added to the pure concept of God, it begs questions: what is murder? who did it? who shall punish them and how? Adding this one well-intentioned law to the concept of God justifies the State. It lets the state act in the name of God, cutting out a piece of His action, and stealing His power. Compassion alone would have been enough.

Compassion and patience are two different virtues. Even God doesn't have infinite patience. And we can only be as compassionate as the time allows. People's moral judgements will vary according to their time horizon.

Most of the miracles attributed to God require an extra time-like dimension. Another angle through with to bend spacetime. Perhaps there are closed time-like loops, fractally, with local resets/re-creation by local powers.

I believe that the mission, and accomplishment, of Jesus Christ was to re-set the concept of God, which had become overgrown with loopholes and earmarks, privileges and duties, rituals and laws, so that it could once again serve as a defense against telepaths and a way to continue after death. Christ reset the concept to simple universal loving compassion, but men began adding on again immediately.

The predators will fight the reboot with a new religion, or spiritual movement, stressing love and acceptance, the same thing as compassion but without the intent to act (except by thinking positive thoughts). A New Age op**te for the masses. A spiritual discipline that says 'be a good victim'.
