The United States Constitution, America's most important document, stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties, freedoms, and inalienable rights. Each year, we celebrate Constitution Week during the week of Sept. 17 to commemorate its history, importance, and to bring attention to how it serves today.

Angie Berkey, Deborah Burke, Kris Haggard, and Amanda Foster joined 1st Vice Regent Sharon Suarez for the Carrollton Manor Chapter's "Revolutionary War Selfie Booth" at the In the Streets festival in historic Frederick, Maryland, on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. These gals rocked it! They did an outstanding job answering questions about the DAR, distributing American flags and Constitution booklets, and posing with visitors for selfies. And, yes, they were more popular for selfies than the life-sized founding father cutouts!
