You Rescued Me Animal Sanctuary

You Rescued Me Animal Sanctuary I have been saving and rescuing animals ever since I was a little girl. We want to help change the lives of animals and families.

Now that I have a family of 6, we are all involved and have anywhere from 50-60 animals at a time. We are a family ran animal rescue in Buckeye, AZ. We have a variety of animals that we care for on a daily basis. We offer our home to any animal that is in need of a home. We try to assist as many families as we can by searching for lost pets, temporary placement and adoptions. For those animals who

have difficulty being adopted, they live with us forever. As of 2/1/2022 we currently care for 58 animals. We offer tours and accept any donation to assist us with the care of the animals. We appreciate you and together we can continue to change lives.

A quick update on Sisu’s mom, Elizabeth. She’s a true inspiration. Since we dropped her on Wednesday the 1st, she has hiked 121 miles and is on the last stretch of the AZ trail and on her way to the Utah border. In the meantime, Sisu is waiting patiently for he moms return.

Scooter found his forever. He is already deeply loved and he gets to go to work with his mom. He will be busy saying hi to all the seniors at his mom’s work. He has a family that is committed to making his new life work and is taking daily walks to help build a bond with his new doggie sister. ❤️

Everybody meet “Sisu”. This little girl has the cutest face and she’s a ball of energy. Her name comes from the Finnish word and it means strength and perseverance. Her story is a long one but it’s a beautiful story. Her mom Elizabeth is the example of what strength and perseverance truly is. Elizabeth is out here in Arizona and she is on her last 200 miles of the Arizona Trail. She started at the Mexican border and is on her way to Flagstaff as I type this. She will finish in the next couple of weeks at the Utah border. Along her journey she came across this sweet face. We have offered to hold onto her while she finishes her hike. Once she has completed (which I believe she will) she wants to take Sisu back to Michigan with her. The only problem is, is that Sisu is 1 of 4 females that we need to spay, vaccinate and microchip. The other 3 need to be adopted out. We would like to get this little girl current on her shots, microchip her and spay her while she waits for her mom to return. We’d love for her to come back and be able to immediately travel with her on her next adventure. We most certainly cannot do this alone and we even more can’t afford for another dogs spay and vaccines. We’d love to raise the funds to help her and Sisu. Sisu will be the last dog we take until we can afford to get all of them ready for adoption. We currently have 18 dogs with 5 waiting to be adopted. If you can help with Sisu’s medical expenses, we would be more than grateful and appreciative. 🙂 Here are a few ways to donate:

This little boy is ready for his forever home. He was found emaciated in the desert a few weeks back. He’s been well taken care and spoiled by his foster. He is now neutered and will be fully vaccinated. He is house broken and does not like cats. He will need to go to home without cats. Looking for a family that has experience with dachshunds. Please pm if interested.

Little Ricky went home last night with his worried mom and dad . He got to spend some time here while a team of us treated him for his parvo. Thank you to Eva for the support, Iv bags and the new method of getting fluids in faster. Also a huge shout out to Amy for the meds and fan for the garage and to Barb for the anti nausea meds!! Thank you to Tony for being on standby if we needed more. This was a team effort to save this little guy. I checked in with mom just a bit ago and he’s drinking a water/pedialyte mix and eating a bland diet all on his own. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Definitely a team effort !

This little boy needs prayers. He is stopping by a couple of times a day for iv treatments for parvo symptoms. 🙏🏻🤞🏻

I just wanted to take a moment and say a few thank yous.

Thank you to Armando, our neighbor who volunteers his time away from his family to help clean our cows area. It’s a very expensive thing to have done and he does it for free for us. He does an amazing job every time.

Thank you to Annelaure Grillas Pass for volunteering time to help us catch up on the goat area. It was a pleasure to meet you.

Thank you to the strongest 15yr old Jeremy for coming over and volunteering time to help me catch up on some things. You have been a blessing.

Thank you to Lisa McDonald for purchasing the one and only Hope shirt 🙂 I definitely didn’t go to design school and I’m thankful you thought it was cute 🙂

Thank you to Hollie Jo for your unwavering support in so many ways and most importantly, the laughs and conversations we’ve had. Your husband and yourself have been an honor to cross paths with. I hope we can put that trap to good use soon. 🤞🏻

A big appreciation and loads of gratitude to Rachel and Carrie for their dedication at trapping the remaining Arlington dogs. They went above and beyond and created their own Missy trap and dedicated countless hours to making sure they all got off safely. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you to Nikki and Art Fallon for your commitment and support to our animals. Your donated trap was used to reunite a family with their cat that was missing for a month. 🙂 you always think of us and we appreciate you.

Thank you to AZ Sarah, her rescue Community Paws and Chewy for all the food and special treats that you help so many rescues with. We absolutely could not do it without you. Not even 1%. The food is used is many various ways. Thank you! You are helping rescues continue to fight this battle.

Thank you to everyone who continues to give through Frys Community Rewards. We received another check for 51.00 and we are forever grateful for you choosing us. Thank you! (I took a picture but I can’t find it)

Thank you to Terri Ranger who donated majority of the vet costs for our Hope and to every single person who donated to help with Hope. I can guarantee that she was worth it. Although she is not back to walking again, she is continuing to undergo treatment in hopes that she will walk again. She is the best dog.

Thank you to Carrianne and Amy for always helping when I need an extra hand. I am thankful to have you in my life. We’ve had some pretty good excursions.

Thank you to the trucker that called us and had extra cases of canned dog food. We have used almost all of it.

I hope I don’t miss anyone… if I did, I’m so sorry. I appreciate everyone and everything. It never goes unrecognized and unappreciated.

It’s that time of year again.. the heat is back and is going to be in full force this coming week. Every year I put up misters to help keep our animals cool out back. Every year I fight with the misters and the hard water here in Arizona. Misters and I don’t get along and it’s my least favorite thing to work with. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’d like to try and run 2 separate lines from the middle to cover all the animals . If I start in the middle, I think it would be easier to see the hose connection… this is my thought. If anyone has a good mister system and/or has a good idea on how to set one up, it would be greatly appreciated! Our animals appreciate it!

Please check out our amazon list of a few items we could use for the summer. 🙂
