Buckeye Lake Area Star Spangled Tradition (BLASST)

Buckeye Lake Area Star Spangled Tradition (BLASST) The purpose of BLASST is to promote a safe and patriotic 4th of July fireworks display in the Buckeye Lake Region. 2025 marks 200 years of the Ohio Canal.

On July 4, 1825, the first shovel of dirt was moved to begin the creation of the Ohio Canal, thus starting the creation of Buckeye Lake. Every year, BLASST works to bring the community a celebration to commemorate our country's independence, inviting the public to soak in the beauty of a colorful fireworks display, as well as a beautiful reflection of the display on the waters of Buckeye Lake.
