Another milestone

It was an eyes opening for our team to have participated in a two day capacity building workshop organized by an expert in Governance Accountability Lab Liberia who's goal is to promote Accountability and Transparency in government. During our two-day capacity building workshop, we covered the following topics
1. Anti-Corruption Principles and Practices
2. Stakeholders Engagement & Partnership
3. Social Accountability and
4. Monitoring/Tracking & Reporting

These topics enhanced our understanding of Public Contract Tracking thereby activating us to Monitor, Track and report public contract using an anti-Corruption mechanism which placed us in a better position to implement the National Social Accountability Project in Our county, Grand Bassa

🌏More enforcement for Liberia Drugs Law🌏

Liberia have become a transit point for Illicit Drug trafficking. Leaving behind 85% of the youth population victimized. 8 out of 10 of the youthful population are users of narcotics drugs.

Since the drug law was passed in 2012, drug trafficking seems to increase by 92% due to many defences sit aside to protect those traffickers. Section 4.3 of the National Public Law gave birth to said protection.

In 2012, it was meant to create a separate chapter in the Penal of Liberia as a very serious felony but, up to present said decision haven't been made by Law Makers reasons best known to them.

Ninety nine percent of our Law Makers Manifesto was "Youth Empowerment" Is this how you empowered youth by endangering their safety by not making drug law enforcement a propriety?

After you have served and leave, wow will take over Mama Liberia?

Do you think all of the youthful population will survive the cruelty of Drug, if you don't make drug Law effective?

Care for Life Liberia in Partnership with BudgIT holds a dialogue on the Approved 2023 National Budget of Liberia in Buchanan among citizens. The purpose of the Dialogue was to enhance citizen understanding on the national budget. The dialogue was held at the New Buchanan Intellectual forum in New Buchanan Community.

During the dialogue, citizens it was recommend that:

-The National draft budget should be send to communities for viewing before approval

-That government of Liberia should allocate more funding to agriculture sector and reduce spending on Public Administrations
- That government of Liberia should increase funding for the Education sector
