Youngest rider of the spring ride. Ryder Kimsey, 3 months old. His mom is Emily, been on the wagon train since she was 4. His grandfather is Wayne dutton, been on wagon train since 1973 only missing two trains. His great grandfather was Jarrell Moore, wagon trainer since the 80s. Ryder makes 4th generation wagon trainer!

He had the best seat on the train in his swing papa D set up for him.

What a wonderful ride we had this weekend at Caney fork in cullowhee nc. Thank you to all the neighbors that welcomed us and came out to visit with us. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Beautiful country. We had 21 wagons with us this weekend and several saddle riders. If you have pictures or videos, make sure to tag Wnc wagon train so everyone can see them. See you all in June!

Our summer ride will be in Bryson city nc this year. We are looking for businesses to place ads in our book that we give out every year. If you own a business in Bryson city or surrounding areas or know someone that owns a business in Bryson City or the surrounding areas, please get with us about sponsoring and putting an ad in our book. Full page ad is $100, half page $60 and quarter page is $30. We would love to have your business in our book. Contact 706-455-7893 to get started on your sponsorship! Events are available for our spring and summer rides for 2026. Please share them to get the word out.

We are currently selling book ads for our 2026 book. If you are interested on sponsoring our book or putting pictures on our book, please let us know. Deadline for that will be April 23rd. You can get with samantha 706-455-7893 or any of your board members will assist you in getting your ad or pictures in the book.

The board is also selling raffle tickets for our summer ride. $20/ticket. Only 200 tickets available. 1st place will receive 357 Henry golden boy. 2nd place will receive a 45 tundra yeti cooler. 3rd place will receive a hand made knife made by Jerry Fowler. Please get with your board members to get a ticket. These go fast, so get them quick. Any leftover tickets will be sold at the summer ride before the drawing if any are left.

WNC wagon train board members enjoyed going over and riding with the South Carolina Wagon Train at whetstone horse camp this weekend. Great folks to ride with. 17 wagons. Yall look them up and join in on one of their rides. You won’t be disappointed.
