Next Sunday evening, The Grove will be hosting a Blue Christmas service, and we’d love for you to join us.

This will be a collaborative service with our friends from First Baptist, the United Methodist Church, and Bryson City Presbyterian Church, as we come together as one community during the Advent season. The Grove Band will be leading the music for the evening.

A Blue Christmas service—sometimes called a Longest Night service—is a quiet, reflective gathering for anyone who finds the holiday season difficult. While Christmas is often joyful, it can also bring grief, loneliness, stress, or reminders of loss. This service creates space to be honest, to breathe, and to remember that God meets us in the shadows as well as the light.

If you’re carrying something heavy this season—or if you simply want a calmer, more reflective way to prepare your heart for Christmas—you are welcome here.

Had a great meeting today with OUR local Law Enforcement Officials. Continuing plans for UNITY through the understanding of DIVERSITY. Confirmed their commitment to the safety of the all the people in this community no matter the color of their skin. Condemning the murder of anyone based on skin color by police or citizen. Looking forward to working more with them and the other leaders in this community.
