Meet Raab, our Executive Director, heading into her 9th summer at YMCA Camp Watia!

From campfires to crazy games, Raab has helped create unforgettable summers for campers, families, and staff year after year. She keeps camp running with heart, laughter, and just the right amount of organized chaos!

Fun fact: Raab is also the official Keeper of the Camp Onesie Closet... meaning she somehow always has the perfect onesie ready for any Wacky Wednesday, dance party, or surprise staff challenge!

The Reuter Y just got a major jolt of summer 🌞Check out our YMCA Camp Watia lifeguard crew getting all trained up and "literally" watching the the Watia video on the lobby screen. A perfectly timed moment watching them watch the Camp Watia video-we almost missed it! So ready to launch into a summer of safety and fun at Watia.

We’re beyond excited to introduce (or re-introduce!) Zay, our amazing full-time Senior Program Director, as he heads into his 5TH SUMMER at YMCA Camp Watia!

For five summers, Zay has brought nonstop energy, creativity, leadership, and camp magic to our community. Whether it’s leading unforgettable programs, supporting campers and staff, or making every day at camp more fun, Zay helps make Watia the special place we all know and love.

Come relax around camp, reconnect with old friends, share your favorite stories, and jump back into some classic camp activities. Whether you were here one summer ago or ten summers ago, we’d love to see you back at camp reflecting on the moments that made Watia feel like home.
