The Opioid Crisis Action Network Recovery Fund (OCAN), a 501(c)(3) public charity that helps people in recovery, conducted its weekly Kindness Outreach Event Wednesday at the Chester Transportation Center, Chester, PA, feeding over 30 people a hot meal prepared by our Board President, Heather Griggs Arata, and our Program Coordinator, Gloria Strictland. Our faithful volunteers, Steve Roe, served meals, Casandra Brown, Holcolm, and Rob Fitzgerald distributed donated clothing and our Case Manager, Wade Crane, distributed harm reduction materials like Narcan and fentanyl tests strips. Most importantly, we spoke to several participants about their treatment and housing resource options. Please volunteer at our next Kindness Outreach Event, this Wednesday, 10/15/25, 4:30-6:00 PM, at the 69th St. Terminal, Upper Darby. PA. Please donate:
