The BMC Art Club is currently looking for new members and taking applications for positions on the Art Club Executive Board!!

BMC Art Club offers students opportunities throughout the year to create and socialize. Community Art Nights, or CANs, will be held on via zoom, unless otherwise specified. These events bring the Bryn Mawr College community together in a relaxed space to make progress on a project chosen and led by an Art Club E-Board member. Past events focused on calligraphy, embroidery, and alcohol ink painting.

We are still working out ways to host virtual art nights, and we will let you know more information soon. Most likely we will deliver supplies to everyone attending an event, and then everyone will create art together through zoom!

before midnight on September 29th. However, anyone can participate in CANs and be involved in other aspects of the club’s operations. Regardless of experience, this is a space that promotes art-making, self care, and creativity with the larger goal of building, promoting, and sustaining community.

We're accepting exec board applications for this year! All class years are welcome to apply. This is a great way to get more involved in Art Club leadership and plan your own Community Art Night :) Please submit the google form application by the end of the day on Wednesday, 9/18 if you're interested.

Ever wanted to weave your own tapestry? Do you like playing with yarn? This Saturday, Art Club will be hosting a tapestry-making class with an outside instructor from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm in Old Library 301. There are 15 spots available, which you can reserve through dming our page or emailing us at [email protected]. We will be providing all materials, including looms and yarn, and look forward to seeing you there!
