We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Wreaths Across America once again for our troop fundraiser! The mission of WAA is to honor fallen service members through wreath-laying ceremonies across the nation. We will be collecting wreath sponsorships until December 1st, and will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Lower Merion Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, December 13th. You can check out our troop landing page below if you'd like to donate a wreath or volunteer your time.

Our troop had the opportunity to visit Broomall Fire Company and learn about what it takes to be a firefighter. It was a great experience for our trailmen to learn about selfless service in the context of their local community. Thank you firefighter Ben and Ed for your hospitality, and we can't wait to come again!

Our troop had the privilege of participating in Wreaths Across America's wreath-laying ceremony at Lower Merion Baptist Church. It was a special time for our Trailmen to honor those who sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms, and discuss how their sacrifice motivates us to walk worthy.

Troop Announcement!

This Wednesday (11/27) we will not have a Troop meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday. You are invited to join us for our Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 PM in the sanctuary.

We will resume meeting on December 4th.

As we reflect upon the tragic events of 9/11, we must never forget the lives that were lost and the families that were destroyed, nor should we ever forget the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for the sake of their fellow Americans.

On that day, in the midst of the worst evil, we saw the greatest good. In those moments of terror and heart-wrenching loss, the heart of our nation was revealed. We saw many examples of men willing to step up and risk everything to save others. That is what masculine strength is. Masculine strength is bravery harnessed by wisdom, action tethered by self-restraint, self-assertion marked by self-control, and honor clothed in humility. Those are the things we must reflect on and must teach our sons and boys in our community.
