Surviving Your Drive

Surviving Your Drive What is Surviving Your Drive? We are a nonprofit raising awareness of how drinking and distracted driving effects the community.

We have an in-vehicle simulator that we take to events and we strongly suggest dash cams for all your vehicles. Surviving Your Drive was founded to address the shocking reality of preventable vehicle crashes. Many believe it won't happen to them, but the truth is, it can happen to anyone. Take Sydney Weiscopf (the reason Surviving Your Drive was started), for example—a vibrant, fearless 17-year-ol

d who was on the brink of graduation and ready to embrace the future. Her bold spirit and zest for life were contagious, but tragically, her life was cut short by an accident that could have been avoided. Sydney's story serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of safe driving practices and the need for vigilance on the road. We must honor her memory by spreading awareness and encouraging responsible driving habits. Together, we can make a difference and prevent future tragedies.

Congratulations to all the graduates! This is the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. 🎓

Please stay safe on the roads. If you’re going to a party where alcohol may be involved, make a plan ahead of time. Hold people accountable if they are at your house, too.

Keep your eyes on the road — sometimes we have to drive defensively more than just drive. We want to see all the amazing things you accomplish in life. Don’t let a car crash change your future.

So sad. I do not know the cause, just posting. Come to find out, I went to high school with Bryce's Grandpa also, Sydney and Bryce knew one another. Please be in prayer for this family!

Please get a dash cam so if something happens while you are on the road there is proof of what happened!

Keep your eyes on the road and drive sober.

A deadly crash closed lanes of County Road 218 in both directions at Eagle Point Road in Middleburg on Wednesday morning.

A HUGE THANK YOU, Callahan! ✨

Because of your continued support of the Callahan Community Market, we’re able to give back to incredible local organizations each month. This month, we were absolutely thrilled to support Surviving Your Drive.

Your choice to come out, shop with our vendors, and support small businesses makes all the difference. Each purchase you make helps us continue this cycle of giving back to our community in meaningful ways.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Sherry Rogers Weiscopf and all who were there to support this cause. We were so glad she brought the simulator, if you didn’t get an opportunity to check it out, be sure to see where she will have it next.

Surviving Your Drive is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness of how drinking and distracted driving affects the community.

The Callahan Community Market is held on the second Saturday of each month from 9 AM – 1 PM at Hagan Ace Hardware, Callahan.

🌟 Vendor opportunities are available! If you’d like to join us, email [email protected].

Thank you for making it possible to support programs like this—together, we’re making a difference. 💚
