NatureFest this Saturday at College of S MD La Plata Campus!
It’s going to be a beautiful day this Saturday – you should come see us at NatureFest 2026 from 10 am to 3 pm at the College of S MD La Plata Campus! Southern Maryland Audubon Society will have a booth in the Nature’s Way neighborhood (vendors will be located in specific "neighborhoods") directly behind the AD building. Many of our nature friends will be with us i.e. Port To***co River Conservancy, Wild Ones Chesapeake Bay, CSM/Town of La Plata Bird Campus/Bird City, and more!!
From the Nature’s Way neighborhood you can also go explore other neighborhoods like Talon’s Terrace, Explorer’s Way and Creative Cove - there’s something for everyone! The event will offer a youth bird count activity, live raptor show, free native plants, live reptiles, nature walks, nature art, STEM activities, activities and games for kids. This is a great event to not miss!! See the agenda of special presentations that are also included.
You can see the show schedule and register for free here (we just like to get a head count!): http://neighborhoodcreativeartscenter.org/nature-fest
