We would like to give a very special thank you to Texas Equine Hospital for being one of our biggest sponsors! 🐴

Because of generous supporters like them, we are able to offer programs such as Summer Camp and create meaningful experiences for our members year after year.

Yesterday, our middles group stopped by to deliver a thank-you gift handmade by our members as a small token of our appreciation. But it turns out we were the ones who received a surprise! The amazing team at Texas Equine Hospital welcomed us with a tour of their facility and even sent our campers and volunteers home with goodie bags.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, generosity, and kindness, but most of all, for the love and care you show our members. Thank you for helping make opportunities like summer camp possible and for being such an important part of the DSABV family! 💛💙

That’s a wrap on Middles Camp! ☀️

We had so much fun celebrating our last day together! We spent the morning delivering thank-you gifts to some of our amazing sponsors, then headed to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and plenty of games. 🎮🍕

To top it all off, we ended the day the best way possible, cooling off and making memories at the pool!

What an incredible week filled with laughter, friendship, and fun. Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, camp coordinators, and families for making Middles Camp so special. 💛💙

Day 3️⃣ with our Middles campers! 🎳

We kicked off our morning at Grandstation Entertainment, where we had a blast bowling, playing putt-putt, and battling it out in laser tag!

After all that fun, we stopped by Chick-fil-A for lunch before heading back to the office to get creative and make some slime.

From friendly competition to messy fun, today was full of laughter, memories, and smiles all around. Stay tuned for the last day of camp 💛💙

Day 2️⃣ of Middles Camp was a blast! 🎨🌮🎬

We started our day at U Paint-It, where our campers got creative painting pottery and showing off their artistic talents. We then headed to Rosa’s for Taco Tuesday lunch before ending the day with a movie and some well-deserved relaxation.

Another fun-filled day of making memories, trying new things, and spending time with friends! 💙💛

Let's celebrate 250 years of freedom together with our wonderful Kurten community!

Shane Savage and Savage Outdoor & Defense are huge supporters of the Down Syndrome Association of the Brazos Valley (DSABV), and now it's our turn to help him make this year's July 4th celebration a massive success. Local non-profits like DSABV do incredible work for our community, and an event of this scale is a wonderful way to give back.

To keep everything running smoothly at the Kurten Community Center, volunteers are urgently needed for a few key shifts:

Volunteer Shifts Needed
2:00pm - 5:00pm | Transportation

Role: Driving golf carts and side-by-sides.

Current Status: 4 of 8 slots filled (Halfway there, but 4 more drivers would secure this shift!).

5:00pm - 9:00pm | Transportation

Role: Driving golf carts and side-by-sides as the evening crowd arrives.

Current Status: 0 of 8 slots filled (They completely need a crew to step up for this peak window).

8:00pm - 11:00pm | Transportation and Clean Up

Role: Driving golf carts, helping guests leave safely, and hauling trash to wrap up the night.

Current Status: 0 of 8 slots filled (A crucial closing crew is needed to finish the night strong).

That’s a wrap on Littles Camp 2026!

We had the best last day with our little ones! We started our morning at Smarty’s Sprouts, enjoyed some yummy Chick-fil-A Bryan for lunch at the office, then spent the afternoon watching a movie and getting creative with some fun crafts. 🎨🍿

What an incredible week filled with laughter, adventures, new friendships, and unforgettable memories!
