Our members live in the Great Black Swamp area of Northwest Ohio. Just as the forts in the War of 1812 dotted the region, out members also dot the same area. We chose to be called the Black Swamp Chapter because we wished to represent with pride the history of Northwest Ohio in the War of 1812.
