Meet Vyvanse, but his friends call him Vance! This tiny gentleman has a big name, an even bigger heart, and is looking for a soft place to land!💙

At 12 years old and about 8.5 pounds, Vance is an easygoing senior gentleman! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, happily follows the lead of the pups around him, and simply goes with the flow.His favorite thing, though, is being near his person. 🥹

Vance loves following his people from room to room and being part of whatever they’re doing. If he’s ready to come inside, he’ll give the door a little scratch, and if he decides it’s time to join you on the couch, he isn’t afraid to let you know that either!

Vance came to us with a massive bladder stone and a severe urinary tract infection. He is now on urinary food, which he’ll need to remain on. He has also received a much-needed dental and has just one little tooth left! During his care, we discovered a healing jaw fracture, so he’ll need to eat wet food until it has fully healed.💊

He may leave a little “Vance was here” signature when exploring a new place, but he does great in a belly band. Vance is also kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is an incredibly loving little companion.🐾
Vance does show some resource guarding around food, so meals and treats should be given separately from other dogs. When food isn’t involved, he’s perfectly happy coexisting with his pup friends and letting them take the lead.🐶

This sweet boy could fit into so many different homes. He would be happy with children, a single person, a couple, or an older adopter looking for a devoted companion! More than anything, Vance wants someone to love, a person to follow around, and a permanent spot beside them on the couch. Could that be with you?🏡

Our sweet Opi girl is home! 🏡💗

Opi entered our rescue after a shelter reached out about this tiny lady who had a large mammary mass that desperately needed attention. She underwent surgery to have the mass removed and also received a much-needed dental. Over the past few weeks, Opi recovered beautifully with the help of her incredibly devoted foster mom.

We shared Opi just a few days ago, and before we knew it, she was on her way to her forever home! Her new mom met her at the airport, and together they headed home to New Jersey. ✈️🐾

Opi also gained some pretty cool new sisters—although one of them may simply be excited about the extra food scraps! 😂

Opi is adjusting wonderfully and is already so incredibly loved! Happy tails, sweet girl! You deserve every bit of this beautiful new beginning. 💕

🚨 Slurp is headed to the vet today! 🚨

Our sweet girl is still eating and sleeping well, which we’re so happy to see! In just a couple of hours, she’ll head to the vet for a full evaluation.🩺

At this point, we know that Slurp is missing part of her jaw, is severely malnourished, and is thankfully heartworm-negative, but there are still so many unknowns.
Slurp needs the works: a full exam, bloodwork, diagnostics, and anything else our veterinary team feels is necessary. We’re hoping today will give us answers and help us create the best plan for getting this precious girl healthy again!

We may not know exactly what lies ahead, but Slurp is officially a Long Way Home girl, and that means we’re going to do everything we can for her.

We’ll share another update as soon as we know more. In the meantime, please consider donating toward Slurp’s medical care. Every dollar will help us get answers and give this deserving girl the fresh start she desperately needs.🤍

Meet Mags! At 12 years young and just 9 pounds, Mags is proof that the best things really do come in tiny, slightly sassy packages! 😍

This adorable senior girl is playful, curious, and always ready to investigate whatever the rest of the household is up to. If there’s something happening, you can bet Mags would like to know about it! 👀

Mags is wonderfully dog-friendly and loves having furry friends around. She’s also friendly with cats—although she may be just a little too enthusiastic about making some feline friends. She means absolutely no harm, but she hasn’t quite mastered the art of taking a hint. Instead, she’ll happily follow her feline friends around like their tiny, unpaid personal assistant. 🐱🐾

When it comes to affection, Mags believes in balance. She’s always up for a cozy snuggle, but once she’s reached her cuddle quota, she’s perfectly happy to curl up and snooze on her own. Her personal philosophy? Play hard. Cuddle often. Nap independently. Honestly, she may have life figured out.💁‍♀️

Mags is house trained, kennel trained, and sleeps peacefully through the night on her own. She’s also very treat-motivated, which means winning her heart is pretty simple: snacks. Lots of snacks. 😉🦴

Mags may be small, but her personality is anything but! This sweet, spunky senior is ready to find someone who will appreciate all her little quirks and love her for the fabulous tiny lady she is!🥹

Congrats, Iggy! This sweet little man flew all the way from Texas to Illinois to meet his new momma, Jamie, and we think it’s safe to say he found exactly where he was meant to be!🛬🏡

Iggy joined our rescue at the end of June and spent the next several weeks waiting for someone to choose him. It may have taken a little longer than we hoped, but we truly believe Iggy was just waiting for his person.
Thanks to his wonderful foster momma, Erin, Iggy had the chance to truly bloom while he waited. She gave him the love, patience, and security he needed to become the happy little guy who was ready to take one very special flight home.💗

A HUGE thank you to SWAPT , Iggy’s flight angel Rocky, and his transporter Becky for helping make his journey from Texas to Illinois possible. It truly takes a village!🐾

And Iggy? He is already making himself right at home! Jamie says he wants to be with her all the time, so naturally, she got him his very own sling so he can tag along wherever she goes. He even got to make a trip to Home Depot yesterday! 🛒

Iggy's momma says that Iggy was her missing piece! We couldn’t have dreamed of a sweeter ending for this little guy. Happy tails, Iggy! You waited a little while for your forever, but it looks like forever was worth the wait. 🥹🤍
