⏳🐾 48 HOURS LEFT TO STUFF THE SHED! 🐾⏳
Time is running out, and we still need your help!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we're nearly 50% of the way to our goal, but we still need just over 100 more bags of dog food before Stuff the Shed comes to an end at midnight on May 31.

This year alone, 74 dogs have entered our program. Many of them are seniors and dogs with medical needs, and the food collected during this drive helps ensure they have full bellies while we focus our resources on lifesaving veterinary care.❤️‍🩹

Meet Peppa Pawdu! At 14 years old, Peppa has earned the right to enjoy the finer things in life: sunny spots, leisurely walks, belly rubs, car rides, and plenty of naps.🥹💛

Peppa (formerly Erkyah Pawdu) was adopted from our program in 2024, but through no fault of her own, recently found herself back in rescue. While we're sad she's back, her foster family has quickly fallen in love with this sweet senior girl.

Peppa is the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. She enjoys having her own space but will happily wander over when she's ready for scratches, belly rubs, and a little extra love. 🥰

This sweet girl is hard of hearing, enjoys a slower pace of life, and is happiest in a calm home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. Like many senior dogs, Peppa has some age-related spinal arthritis, but with her daily medication she's comfortable and happy!💊

Peppa's favorite things include:
🐾Her slow walks
🚘Car rides
🌤Spending time outside
🍗 Meal time! She's not a picky girl! Weight management is very important for Peppa for her spinal arthritis!

One of her most unique qualities? Her adorable little "yodel." When she thinks she's home alone, she'll occasionally let out a funny howl that's somewhere between a yodel and a conversation. Because of this, she'd thrive in a home where her people are around most of the time or can bring her along on adventures.🏡🚗

Peppa gets along with respectful dogs but would likely be happiest as the center of someone's world or with a calm, low-key canine companion. A backyard or doggy door would be a huge bonus since she enjoys frequent trips outside.🐶

After 14 years of life, Peppa deserves a family that will cherish her, spoil her, and give her the soft landing she deserves. Could that be you?✨

Yesterday we recieved 19 bags of kibble toward our Stuff the Shed supply drive!💛
Thanks to you guys, we are now at 60 bags collected toward our goal of 220 bags needed to help feed the dogs in our care this year.

We still have a long way to go, but every single bag truly makes a difference for the senior and medical-needs animals depending on us. From tiny seniors to large medical cases, these donations help ensure our fosters never have to worry about providing food for the animals they open their homes to!

105 days. 105 days of being overlooked, waiting for someone to realize just how special she is.💔

Honestly, we can’t understand how our little Puddles is still waiting for her forever home. At just 13 pounds, this 8-year-old girl has mastered the art of being the perfect tiny sidekick. Her biggest life goal? To be as close to her person as physically possible. Under a blanket, tucked into your side, snoozing peacefully while you watch TV? That is Puddles’ dream life. 🥹💛

She’s not the type of dog who needs chaos or constant entertainment. Puddles is for the people who love slow mornings, quiet evenings, cozy routines, and a little shadow following them from room to room. She thrives in calm environments and does best with mellow, respectful dogs who match her energy. Cats, however, are definitely not on her guest list—she takes critter chasing very seriously.🐾

Puddles may have IVDD, but don’t tell her that means life can’t still be fun. She LOVES stroller rides, enjoys short walks and fresh air, and will happily chew on a bone while keeping you company. Toys? Overrated. Stealing unattended snacks? Much more her style.🍗😂

💊She does take Fluoxetine daily and Trazodone as needed to help with anxiety, and while she may protest crate time for a few minutes, she settles once she knows she’s safe. More than anything, Puddles just wants reassurance, consistency, and someone who understands that the best things in life are soft, warm, and comforting.

After 105 days in rescue, we would love nothing more than to see this sweet girl finally get the happy ending she deserves.🏡

Bring your pup for a spa day so they can enjoy a bath, blow dry, brush, and nail trim for a $25 minimum donation (pay what you can). 🚨 WARNING: Possum may cause excessive laughing, constant cuddles, and sudden urges to adopt a dog. 🚨

This 11 lb pup has somehow convinced himself he’s the main character everywhere he goes—and honestly? He might be right.

Possum is a 2 year old professional zoomie athlete. He is friends with literally everyone (dogs, cats, humans… probably your mailman too).🐾

After being dumped alongside another pup, Possum is finally safe and soaking up every bit of love he can get. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure.🐶

Now, let’s be real, this boy is still working on his “gentleman era.” Potty training and kennel training are a work in progress, but he’s super food motivated and eager to learn. Give him snacks and encouragement, and he’ll try his best!🤍

Possum would thrive with:

… Elsie!❄️🐾
Elsie (formerly Bingo) was born into our program last July after her mama was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where more than 40 dogs were living in terrible conditions. Shortly after entering our care, her mama gave birth to Elsie and her siblings, giving them a chance at the life they always deserved. 💛

On January 11th, Elsie officially made her way home to Canada, and she’s been thriving ever since! From zooming around with her toys, to soaking up all the love from her people, to perfecting the art of cozy naps, this girl is living her best life!☁️✨

We are so grateful for adopters who give our rescue dogs the happily ever afters they deserve!🏡
