We sure have had good responses to some of our weekly question prompts. Last week was, "What songs have you heard that have morse code in them?" I learned a lot about music!!

Participation is climbing for our weekly nets with 38 checked in tonight, 1 September. If you are not there, we'd love to hear you then, as well.

The sun is down on day one of ARRL Field Day 2026 with the Bryan Amateur Radio Club. So far, 51 people have been with us. Radio stations were configured and tested, stories told, and knowledge shared. We had a fantastic dinner together. The sales table was popular as always. We had the opportunity to learn from two presentations including learning about the Bionic Vipers Robotics Team. The Bionic Vipers brought their 110-pound robot with them! There was a small accessory kit build available, Winlink demonstrations, and friendly faces. The overnight crew continues to log contacts.

3:00 PM Presentation: Bionic Vipers and Dr. Tom Talley, W5XTT Learn about the Navasota High School Robotics Team and their experience in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
6:00 PM Raffle drawing for Alinco DJ-W70T radio. TIckets are available on-site for $1 each.
6:30 PM King Ranch Chicken supper - $10 donation
