Meet 💛REMI💛. This senior Yorkie arrived to foster today! He's got some fatty lipomas and needs to lose some weight, but otherwise he's toothless, happy, and healthy! Isn't he cute?! This little guy isn't a barker and is p*e pad trained. He gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and does great in the car. He sounds PERFECT!! He gets his nose to tail exam next week but if you're looking to add a little gentleman to your home, apply NOW! We have nationwide transport available! ✈️

Meet 💛 BELLA 💛. This blue Frenchie girl comes to our rescue, after she was used as a breeder dog and lived outside. She is petite and sweet and gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids! We are still getting to know her personality, but this week, we will get her spayed and heartworm tested (fingers crossed on that one). She is only 2 years old or so, but has already had C-section litters. 😭 NEVER AGAIN! We are shutting that baby factory down, so her entire job will be ..... To be loved. That's it. Forever. 💛

She's not a senior like we normally take, but she was a baby in need of rescue, so we took her in. Once her medical care is complete, she will go up for adoption!!

This is Mama Nutmeg's intake photo, when she arrived to me from the shelter. She and 20 other little old dogs came from a home in Belton, Tx after their owner died. Even in her teenage years, she was lactating from a hysterical pregnancy, and she would seek comfort in a stuffed Peppa Pig trying to get it to nurse. I quickly fell in love with her and foster failed. Since her passing, I have done my best to honor her legacy in helping as many little oldies as I can.

Right now, we have the chance to help her legacy even more because all donations made to our nonprofit are DOUBLED by our donor until the end of May 31. We would be so honored if you could help keep our mission alive. We have the IG fundraiser by , or we can do all the other ways left below! 5.5 pound hoarding pup 💛PETER COTTONTAIL💛 got his neuter and dental and had 5 teeth removed. He's such a sweet little guy!! His ears are all tattered and his tail is snubbed (stubbed?? What's the right word for being half length?). That just makes him all the more unique!!!

🎉 CONGRATS, GUNNER! 🎉 Whoop! The first one of our little hoarding chis is adopted! Our 4 pack came from the Dallas area by plane, and are all recovering well and getting their full vetting. Gunner arrived very shy and scared, but he very quickly came out of his shell. He is such a sweet little baby! And such perfect timing... His parents were in Texas visiting before they flew home to the Carolinas. Isn't that perfect?! See y'all little man! You were a joy to love! 💛

💛CALLIOPE💛 says "well dang .... I get the big ol tumor removed from my forehead, then now nobody wants me!". Poor girl! She had so much interest when she had the mass on her head, and now.... Crickets. She's great with other animals, LOVES kids, loves to play fetch and is super affectionate. We think she's absolutely lovely.... Can we find her a home? We think she's only around 5 years old!

Meet 💛MARVIN💛. This senior chi blend comes to us as part of a hoarding case. He is SEVERELY EMACIATED. You can see every single bone in his body, but we are working to slowly get him to fill back out. Surprisingly, he's heartworm negative and blood work looks normal. Once he gets to a healthy weight, he can get neutered and go up for adoption. Just look at this sweet face!!!

🎉 CONGRATS, LOTTIE! 🎉 This tiny senior made the flight from Texas to her new mommy in Georgia today! She came to us from a shelter with another senior chi, both in very rough shape. Lottie was very thin at just 2.7 pounds, was scared, had rotten teeth, a bum leg, and was bald from the neck down. Now, thanks to her awesome foster mom and wonderful medical care, Lottie was well enough to get a home.

We are SO GRATEFUL to everyone who VOLUNTEERED to make this happy ending possible: foster mom Sue, temp foster April, airport transporter Becky, flight carrier donor Christy, flight angel Tracy, flight coordinator Elaine, transport coordinator Kellye, corporate charity partner and our incredible transport partners . PHEW! What a fabulous crew! 🎉 Thank you to everyone!!

5.5 pound 💛GUNNER💛 came from a hoarding case, afraid and apprehensive. Only a couple days later and he is an absolute lovebug who feels comfortable enough to judge me for watching a Wade Wilson documentary. 🙄
