Startup Grind Bryan-College Station

Startup Grind - BCS is a community-wide organization, led by Texas A&M University student entrepreneurs. Our Startup Grind X Chapter is the next “level up” from a Startup Grind U Chapter that was launched at Startup Aggieland’s Dormcubator in 2013. The Dormcubator offered freshmen in the Startup Living Learning Program with an opportunity to lead the first university-based chapter run by students. There are now 40+ Startup Grind U chapters. Overall, there are more than 450 chapters of Startup Grind globally. Every major metro area in the world has a Startup Grind chapter but not all of these cities qualify for Startup Grind X.

We are excited to bring this opportunity to the Brazos Valley. Startup Grind X is open to high school students, college students, faculty and staff, as anyone else from Bryan-College Station who wants to attend our meetups. For our students at Texas A&M who volunteer their time to organize Startup Grind meetups, we try to organize a trip to Silicon Valley for the annual Startup Grind Global Conference in Redwood City, CA. We’ve so far taken three trips to the Silicon Valley with students, two of them for free. Startup Grind is designed to connect local entrepreneurs but we have also hosted guests at our meetups from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and Houston. Our featured entrepreneurs have also come from Dallas, Austin, etc.
