Brazos Extension Horse Committee The Brazos Extension Horse Committee is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to promoting the equine industry in the Brazos Valley area.

The Brazos Horse Committee is a group of equine enthusiasts committed to educate, serve, connect, direct, and promote the horse and related industries in the Brazos Valley. Our committee is overseen by the Brazos County Extension Cooperative Extension service. We plan several educational events throughout the year, such as our equine evening, and competitions like the Aggie Super Circuit and Stock

Horse of Texas show in Bryan, TX. We support the equine community through grants for programs that align with our mission, and we award college scholarships annually. Our committee members include equine enthusiasts from all disciplines. Our members include AQHA Hall of Fame Inductees, veterinarians, avid competitors, and expert enthusiasts.

Come join us Memorial Day weekend May 22-24th for some fun horse shows in Ranch And Performance! Come check out the Silent Auction, participate in the Patriotic Horse Parade/ Contest, and we will have a Potluck dinner on Saturday!

We need the following help:

Adults and Youth:
Runners for judges
Setting up Friday and Saturday
4 Knowledgeable Volunteer Scribes (2 per day)
We will be sending out volunteer sign up sheets shortly
Needing donated silent auction items!
Vendor booths are available!

"Christian Veterinary Fellowship is hosting an exciting event with Nutramax as our sponsor! Dr. Lew Sterrett will be joining us on October 10, 2025, to share the Sermon on the Mount while breaking a horse (training a wild or untrained horse). Nutramax is generously providing drinks and food for those who attend! All are welcome!
