The Brazos Club The purpose of the Brazos club is to provide assistance and meeting space to AA, NA and Al-Anon Family Groups in the Brazos Valley. and Al-anon groups to meet.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a proven program of recovery. The primary purpose of the Brazos Club is to provide a safe place
for A.A. The Club is not affiliated with A.A. in any way and is a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Anyone that has an interest in or a desire to stop drinking is welcome at our Club. Active members are involved in all aspects of the Club’s operation and are encouraged to attend

monthly board meetings. The only requirements to be a member of this Club are to be a member of Alcoholics Anonymous or Al-Anon Family Groups and pay membership dues.

TO VOTE FOR BOARD MEMBERS
1. Must be sober for at least the last 3 months.
2. Must be a club member for minimum of last
3 months dues may be paid in cash
when voting.
4. Vote Sun, Mon & Tues 30 min before & 30
min after each scheduled meeting.
5. All are welcome to attend Annual General
Meeting Tues at 6:30pm.

The Brazos Club will be open for regularly scheduled meetings beginning Monday, May 4th. Chairs have been placed 6 ft. apart - please do not move them - 31 people max in big meeting room, 12 people max in back meeting room. If more people come, they can hold a meeting outside. We encourage you to wear masks. Please do not join hands or hug.

Disinfectant and hand sanitizer are at the club for your use. Each group should spray the disinfectant on chairs, doorknobs, etc. after each meeting. SPRAY DISINFECTANT BUT DO NOT WIPE IT DOWN.

Your support of these requests will enable us to keep the club open for meetings.

There are 2 openings on the Brazos Club board. You must have at least 6 month's continuous sobriety and be a dues paying member for the last 6 months. You will need to attend the next board meeting whenever that is.

Les was in contact with the health department today about continuing to leave the club open for meetings. They stated that they feel like we're doing the right thing by staying open for now. This will be a day by day decision whether or not to keep holding meetings at the club. 2 more cases of covid-19 in B/CS announced today. PLEASE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. DO NOT HUG, SHAKE HANDS, OR HOLD HANDS. Try to keep a distance of 6 feet from other people. Spread the chairs out! Be well.
