We are different than other well-known organizations that advocate for Awareness, Survivorship and Research. Our mission was and remains to help the client with financially assistance for their medical needs. We put the money that is donated to us in trust to provide direct individual needs; to offset the co-pays, mileage, supplies and other special circumstances. (from an Excel spreadsheet)

Today is National Cancer Survivors Day.

We join communities across the country in celebrating the millions of cancer survivors whose strength, determination, and hope inspire us every day.

A cancer diagnosis changes lives, but survivors continue to show what it means to face challenges with courage and perseverance. Today, we honor those who have overcome obstacles, those who continue their journey, and the families, friends, and caregivers who stand beside them.

This month, we recognize and celebrate the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of cancer survivors throughout our community and beyond. Every survivor's journey is unique, marked by challenges, victories, hope, and determination.

At Cancer Assistance of Williams County, we are honored to support local individuals and families as they navigate the financial and emotional challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. Survivors remind us each day that hope is powerful and that no one should face cancer alone.

Throughout June, we encourage our community to join us in honoring cancer survivors and the loved ones, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who support them every step of the way.

As we take this time to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, we also want to thank our community for the continued support you show to local families facing cancer.

Our office will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday.

For 30 years, Cancer Assistance of Williams County has stood beside local individuals and families facing one of lifeā€™s most difficult journeys ā€” a cancer diagnosis.

What began in 1996 as a small grassroots effort has grown into a mission of hope, compassion, and practical support for our community. Over the years, we have helped provide financial assistance, guidance, and encouragement to countless families throughout Williams County.

Every clientā€™s story is different, but one thing remains the same: no one should face cancer alone.

As we celebrate 30 years of serving our community, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support that has made this mission possible. Your kindness continues to help us bridge the gap during times of crisis and provide real help when it is needed most.

Hail damage can create unexpected stress and financial strain ā€” especially for individuals and families already going through cancer treatment.

Through the Extra Help Program at Cancer Assistance of Williams County, we may be able to assist with hail damage deductibles for eligible cancer patients currently in treatment. We also understand that special circumstances can arise unexpectedly, and additional support may be available depending on the situation.
